It's a door, or an actual portal, and maybe this thing is normal for you, maybe it's not. Who cares? You get a note online, or a journal, or a transmission from across the universe. They all say the same thing: <i>You may now move freely about the multiverse.</i><br /><br />You can now literally do that. You either care or you don't, you go exploring or don't; either way, someone might bump into you from another world/universe, or you might stumble into clones of yourself.<br /><br />There's actual scientific evidence that theorises there's a multiverse! Some of you futuristic folk might've heard about it.<br /><br /><b>What do we do in this test drive meme?</b><br /><br />Post a comment with your character's name and canon. The main community (<b>the_myriad</b>) is used for inter-world shenanigans and communication. It has continuity for those of us who don't want to be in games but would like cross-canon continuity in our PSLs.<br /><br />The logs comm (<b>myriad_logs</b>) is for <b>PRIVATE PSLs.</b> Or you can take your PSLs elsewhere. Post shit that's related to the uh "main canon" of The Myriad or don't; just tag appropriately. That way you can do alternate storylines and follow plot bunnies to your heart's content. If you want to do things private-private, use your own private musebox for that.</ul><br /><br /><b>♠ Apps? Alternate universe characters? Canon OCs? Doubles? Triples?</b><br /><ul>NO APPS. It's a fucking sandbox. Communication can range from in-face to mobile devices to ... whatever the hell your character wants to use as a communication device. You can post in prose or in brackets, makes no nevermind to me.<br /><br />Crossing universes will probably be done through a portal of some kind (think <i>Stargate</i>) or just a door. For those of you who remember DramaDramaDuck, it's basically like that.<br /><br />"Network" transmissions can be made over a general blogging site, that can also be accessed by physical journals (think Paradisa or HighSeas).<br /><br />Am I ripping off games? Yeah. Do I care? NOPE. It's a fuckin' musebox man.<br /><br />The <b>logs comm</b> is for plot bunnies and private stuff you wanna carry out without spamming the main community. <b>It will be private to members only</b> in the interest of privacy.<br /><br />There might be "events" on occasion, just to spice things up. Otherwise, errythang's a free-for-all.</ul><br /><br /><b>♠ How do I get in?</b><br /><br />Join the comms (the logs comm has moderated membership for obvious reasons), post in the ooc comm who you are/who your character is/what their canon point is. Post in the main comm, have fun.<br /><br /><b>♠ RULES:</b><br /><ul><ul><i>1.</i> DON'T BE A JERK.<br /><i>2.</i> No seriously don't be a fucking jerk.<br /><i>3.</i> THERE IS NO JUDGMENT HERE. If you don't like someone playing out a ship in the logs comm or wherever, suck it up. Use their HMD if it bothers you that much. This is a musebox and a <b>JUDGMENT FREE ZONE.</b> <br /><i>4.</i> Judgment Free Zone. If something bothers you that much, talk it out like grown ass adults IN PRIVATE.<br /><i>5.</i> You're not obligated to tag something that makes you uncomfortable. If someone pushes you, even after you've said no outright multiple times, <b>notify the administrator account (<i>bias</i>) immediately with concrete proof.</b> <br /><i>6.</i> It's up to you guys to communicate OOCly, via plurk, AIM, or any other blogsite/chat client. <br /><i>7.</i> There is obviously no AC, but <b>every other month</b> there will be check-ins to make sure people are still around. If you wanna leave the comms just do so, and <b>please post in the ooc</b> so people know you're out.<br /><i>8.</i> Have fun!! Go on road trips. Skip through different worlds. I don't care.
